For those that don't know england had it's biggest earthquake in 25 years last night, 5.7 on the richter scale. epicentre in north lincolnshire (roughly half way between london and the scottish border), but I felt just the edge of the quake, and i'm 120 miles south.
So I just wondered if anyone else felt it. It hit just before 1am last night.

Make no mistake gentlemen, we are in the fight of our lives, against maybe the greatest marine commander in the Vietnam War, I SH*T YOU NOT.

I was just getting off to sleep and my bed started to slowly move from side to side, rather disconcerting, although it stopped rather quickly and so I thought at the time I was dreaming or gone mad or something.

Weirdly I was awake, but didn't feel a thing although it did affect the house. A couple of things fell over. My mum lives in Lincoln so was pretty close to epicentre and said that it went on for ages.

It probably was, but I imagine that when you're in it it would feel longer.

I was fast asleep, but I was told about it the next day by my mother, brother and sister.
