you must have me confused with another 24nut, if there is one, my names James. 
No worries, with all these names and aliases to remember it gets tough, haha.
My holiday season has been great, got 6 weeks off before i have to go back and continue my degree. Just anxiously awaiting 24, and wanted to get back to the forums.

uhm, my bad. lol. we'll see, like I mentioned, i'd really like to see the show come back with a vengeance. you know 24 is coming to a pay per view channel here this year... starting 2 days after it starts on FOX.. and I don't have and can't afford that channel. SOB... my brother said it's cause that channel is owned by another channel, which in turn is owned by the guy who owns FOX. .so... oh well. lol.

the way I've always watched it - thanks to friends . see, here in this country, it always takes them at least a year to show a new season of any series. this is the first time EVER that a season of 24 (or any other series, I believe) is starting here at the same time as in the US and UK. so it's either waiting a year or buying the DVD box when it comes out in the UK (region 2) or having friends in the US or elsewhere to help me out

ah cool, i hate it when there are delays in broadcasting the show, it used to be a month behind in the uk (doesn't seem as bad as your situation now), but now were a day after, but the us get 4 hours shown in one week, we get 2, so were still 2 behind.
