#1 Re: No Rules - Enter at your own risk! » Season 7 Preview » 2007-10-27 00:28:34

I saw it yesterday and I only have two big things. One, I never really liked that person coming back because personally, I thought he was dead, and now's he come back from the dead? Just kinda making things a little more unrealistic, to a show some are already calling not realistic. Then he comes back as a baddy, and oh my, what happened to him? I'm not buying it for now... but I'm just kinda, I can't describe.

And I totally agree! When it came down to the plot, I thought I was watching a Live Free or Die Hard commercial. (I loved that movie by the way) but if it is just exactly like it, I'll have to pass this season up... Oh well, I'll see.

I hope the show doesn't get critized again for torture as I've heard that the UK Version, which I also saw, has Jack "enjoying" a torturing.

I went to see Die Hard 4.0, i really liked it, and the soundtrack was very good, it is a die hard movie, it may have some updated technology to power the effects but its still got the McClane humour.

I thought that the plot was awesome. It can really happen and that's sorta scary you know? I haven't seen the past ones yet, I hope to see it soon though!:D So far Live Free or Die Hard has been my favorite summer film... Haven't seen Harry Potter 5 yet or some other ones like Transformers. By the way, has anyone seen Transformers yet? And can anyone tell me how they liked/disliked the film?

i haven't seen and won't see Die Hard 4 but from the reviews it sounded like it was a good effort, and that bruce is doing a good job. one comment that had me chuckle is something like, "part of the reason he still looks good is that in most scenes he's shown in half-dark!" lol

LOL! Where did you find that J_A? I found the main baddie (Timothy Olyphant) to be a cutie lol for some reason... tongue Why aren't you going to go see it?

I went to go see Live Free or Die Hard on Tuesday and it was awesome! Now I haven't seen the previous ones before, but my grandma has and she said this movie was good too! I loved it! I really think I haven't seen any good action flick since. But then I'm a younger person and I may have a different view of a 20 year old or something! But has anyone else seen it yet?

I love the ending!! That was awesome, but honestly, I think my biggest complain was that there wasn't enough Kiefer =[ Everything else was pretty good because I enjoy a good 24 spoof.

#6 Re: TV (except 24), Movies and Music » Events Occur in Real Time... » 2007-06-15 21:48:21

In my opinion, the Simpsons eps. was a rip-off. We already saw one of the scenes that Kiefer was in from the previews. Everything else was okay.... Could've been better if you ask me. Chloe, Mary Lynn, was only in it for a little bit too =[

I love that quote Gaines said. He's a pretty scary baddie...:|

OMG! I'm so happy I didn't read about the Alan York twist... That was a pretty awesome twist to me =]

You don't know how many times I screamed at the tv for that.:P

Sorry J_A for going a bit ahead.

I remember seeing Kiefer's hair before lol! It was really long and very blonde, now, it's short and sorta darkish now. I like it now big_smile

I saw the first movie like the day after it came out early in the morning with my friend. I would like to go early on Friday and just watch it. I've also been wondering about Pirates too... My friends are saying that it's good, but I heard some say that it's horrible and it's too long... Anyone seen it yet?

#10 Re: The Archives of 24 » Season One Revisited » 2007-06-12 18:45:04

Hmm.. okay. So I thought this season had a lot of like, I'm not sure how to explain it, but like remember when Kim and her friend Janet were in a car? But then they drove by Teri and Alan (don't wanna put any spoilers with that name.) I thought that just made me go, as a viewer like, OMG! They were right there! Unfortunally, I saw Season 2 before I saw this season, so I kinda know a bit and it was really weird when I first watched it for sure.

The only one that annoyed me was I believe, Alberta Green, but she came later. Ryan Chappellle was also one too, but I think I'm going ahead.

The Simpsons Movie

Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer (anyone?)

Live Free or Die Hard

Maybe Transformers

I've already seen Spiderman 3 though.

ETA: I forgot to add the last Bourne movie.

Also, a reviewer I read recently made a good point, that lately we've been "told the plot", instead of "experiencing the plot" like we did in S1.

That's an interesting way of saying it! I'm for it too! I just want a better plot!

#14 Re: The Archives of 24 » Season One Revisited » 2007-06-06 02:13:05

Aren't they suppose to help one of the parties before the election so that then the one who gets the most represents that party? I really don't know, since I really don't learn sh.... from my SS teacher.

A good plot? I'd like to see something focused on the next season. The whole season was just everywhere, not very enjoyable!

If for the good, Tom Lennox. big_smile

No more CTU Moles, or those fake ones.

LOL! Jack swimming, hmm, that was sorta hot lol

#17 Re: New in Town » Introduce Yourself » 2007-06-03 00:52:36

That's good, J_A. Can I still call you that for short? lol! If not just tell me, but anyways, thanks 24nut! Glad to talk to you again!:)

#18 Re: Announcements » REWATCH » 2007-06-02 17:25:15
